Furniture and home décor company West Elm is announcing plans to open several hotels beginning in late 2018, Skift reports.
Scheduled to debut in Minneapolis, Detroit, Savannah, Charlotte, and Indianapolis, each outpost will have local design elements and commissioned and curated pieces of art.
Other home furnishing brands have opened hotels. Connecticut has an Ethan Allen Hotel, and Restoration Hardware will enter the boutique market with a 14-room New York City outpost.
