LaGuardia Airport is getting some much-needed TLC – to the tune of $4 billion.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is announcing that the facility will essentially be torn down and be replaced with a new terminal that’s 600 feet closer to the Grand Central Parkway, giving more spaces for planes to taxi to the gates.

Terminal A will stay put as a nod to the past.

Other proposed features of the project, whose first phase is expected to be completed by 2019, include one unified hub, two miles of new taxiways, a new AirTrain, a new parking structure, and a ferry that connects to the Long Island Rail Road at Willets Point.

Passengers flying in and out of the airport may also have an intra-terminal tram, redesigned pre-security area, and a new hotel.
