Love to travel? Love theater?

A new theatrical production checks off both boxes.

Traveling Papers, running at The Lion Theatre on 42nd St. from June 3 to 20, explores our connections to travel through novels, poetry, short stories, letters and other pieces written by Mark Twain, Edith Wharton, Anthony Bourdain, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Charles Dickens, and others. A cast of eight expresses both the joys and pitfalls of travel in this 90-minute production.

You can catch one of its 15 performances playing every day, with the exception of June 7 at 3 p.m. and June 13 at 2 p.m.

Showtime is at 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets are from $17 and can be purchased online or by calling 212-239-6200.
