With the expectation that this summer will be one of the busiest travel seasons ever as more than 200 million people are set to fly, there are growing concerns that this could have a huge impact on airport wait times.

NBC New York reports that the TSA will add 216 agents to JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark Liberty airports in time for the summer rush. More than 750 new offices are set to go on duty nationwide.

In addition to these hires, the agency is also ramping up efforts to get travelers to enroll in the PreCheck program, as well as asking airline employees to assist with non-screening jobs.
