Now in effect is a new law preventing rental car companies from renting vehicles that have been recalled by the manufacturer until they’re properly repaired.
TravelPulse reports that the law is part of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act, which was signed in 2015 by President Obama. However, companies with 35 or fewer vehicles are exempt.
