News from the “sweetest place on Earth” may leave some consumers with a bitter taste in their mouths.

Hershey Entertainment and Resorts is announcing that data on the magnetic strips of some customers’ payment cards may have been copied between Feb. 14 and June 2.

Nasdaq reports that the company believes that an unauthorized individual installed a program on devices in its payment card system with the purpose of copying card data being sent to the payment processor.

In late June, Hershey said it was investigating a potential data breach as a result of some customers reporting fraudulent charges.
