Times are changing at American Airlines.

USA Today reports that the legacy carrier will begin offering a “no frills” choice in 2016.

The new price tier will be similar to Delta’s Basic Economy fares, which are non-refundable and don’t allow for any changes. Seat assignments can be made only after check-in, pending availability.

Details of the new offering are sparse, but it will still offer lie-flat seats and other amenities — to travelers willing to pay a premium.

The new changes will put American Airlines into competition with ultra-low-cost carriers like Spirit and Frontier.
