Circle Line Celebrates 70th Anniversary with Museum Opening

Congratulations to Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises! The New York City fixture is celebrating its 70^th anniversary this year.

The celebration is culminating with the opening of the new Circle Line Museum, which is home to archived images and artifacts from the company’s history.

Two such items are photos of First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson on a Circle Line Vessel, and images of Captain “Sully” Sullenberger and the landing of the “Miracle on the Hudson” flight from 2009. Circle Line ships and crew were among the first to respond to the US Airways flight 1549.
