Last year was a record year for Americans traveling abroad, with more than 73.4 million people going overseas. That’s a nearly 8 percent jump from 2014, Skift reports.
The region that experienced the highest jump in U.S. visitors is the Middle East, with a 14.9 increase from 2014. Travel to Africa decreased by 2.1 percent.
