As the saying goes, “the kitchen is the heart of the home.” That rings especially true for vacation rentals — if you ask some renters.
According to a recent Wyndham Vacation Rentals study that had participation from more than 11,000 vacation rental travelers, 92 percent think vacation rental stays are more relaxing than other types of accommodations.
Rentals with a kitchen are a big deal, the study points out: 94 percent of renters admit that having one reduces stress. Seventy-three percent say it lowers stress levels because it helps save money; 60 percent feel that not having to get ready to go out to eat allows for a more enjoyable experience; and 59 percent appreciate the kitchen because they can cater to different diets and allergies.
