New York City will launch Citywide Ferry Service by next summer, NBC New York reports.

By 2018, the service will operate from 21 landings throughout the five boroughs. There will be several routes, including ones that cover Rockaway, South Brooklyn, Astoria, Soundview, and the Lower East Side.

Unlike the Staten Island Ferry, Citywide Ferry Service won’t be free – costing $2.75 per ride. There won’t be any transfers to MTA buses and trains, either.

Depending on the route, the Hornblower, Inc.-operated voyages will last between 22 minutes and an hour.  And yes, there will be Wi-Fi onboard.

Tickets will be available both in paper form and on smartphones, and can be purchased with cash, credit, or debit cards.
