Try $100.1 billion – that’s how much Gov. Andrew Cuomo is saying was generated in economic impact from tourism in 2014, making it the most visited state by overseas tourists.
amNY reports that the city received $61.3 billion in economic impact. Thanks to tourism spending, $7.8 billion in state and local taxes were generated in 2014.
