When we first step into our hotel room, one of our first moves is to snap some photos to share with our friends. Now, there’s a better reason to do it.

A new app called TraffickCam lets users take photos of their hotel room and submit them, along with your room number, so they can be checked against the national human trafficking database that’s used by police.

Authorities can match your images to any photos taken of the victims; submissions help police identify where victims may have been or where they might be.

The app has generated over 1.5 million photos, and has already had an 85 percent success rate, TravelPulse reports.
