Add another job to Dora the Explorer’s resume.

The adorable Nickelodeon character is New York City’s newest family ambassador and will encourage family travel to the Big Apple’s five boroughs by highlighting the city as a destination for all ages.

And since Dora is bilingual, the family ambassador campaign will have English and Spanish content for the first time ever.

Campaign ads and placements are to be promoted through social media using hashtag #nycgofamily, TV commercials in taxis, and more.

Plus, you can pick up an Explore NYC with Dora activity book at select hotels and cultural organizations later this summer.

This is the second time Dora has been given the title; she was family ambassador back in 2010, while Curious George held the position in 2014.
