Industry-wide, airline performance improved in three categories in 2015, according to this year’s Airline Quality Rating.

It finds that U.S. carriers did a better job at landing flights on time, handling baggage, and making sure everyone in possession of a given flight was able to board the plane.

Based on data from the Department of Transportation, the study reports that 79.9 percent of flights landed on time in 2015; in 2014, it was 76.2 percent. The airlines lost, damaged, or delayed 3.24 bags per 1,000 fliers in 2015 – down from 3.62 in 2014. The rate of involuntary denied boardings fell from 0.92 per 10,000 fliers in 2014 to 0.76 in 2015.
