When the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in June, the future of its tourism sector came into question.
Despite any fears, it appears that the vote made a substantial impact on the U.K.’s travel industry.
According to TravelPulse, 3.8 million people visited England in July – a 4 percent increase from July 2015. The tourists spent 2.5 billion British Pounds.
Of the 3.8 million guests, 2.3 million were from nations within the EU.
