Want to do some writing while traveling on a train across the country? Here’s your shot.
Through Jan. 11, 2016, Amtrak is accepting applications for its Amtrak Residency program, which lets writers experience the country’s scenery and find inspiration for their next masterpiece.
There are 24 slots for the program and those interested must submit a 20-page writing sample as part of the application. They must also answer these two questions: why do you want an Amtrak Residency and how would this residency benefit your writing?
