According to flight information website SkyScanner, the ideal time to book a flight for Turkey Day travel is the week of Oct. 31. It says that you can save at least 7.7 percent during this period.
Going somewhere for Christmas? The website reveals that the best time to purchase airfare for Christmas is the week of Nov. 21, during which there’s the potential to save 6.4 percent. For New Year’s Eve, you might be able to save 10.6 percent when buying the week of Dec. 5.
