Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino is fresh off a major renovation. Here’s the scoop.

The re-do starts off in the lobby, where registration pods are reminiscent of boats, and historic images of Aruba are featured in the seating areas.

In the guestrooms, expect a neutral and earthy palette, new curtains and window treatments, wood beds, fresh carpeting, 50-inch TV, lounge or patio chairs, and works of local art.

Hungry? Stop by Laguna Restaurant, which touts a new bar design, or go check out the new wood terrace bridge at Sunset Grille. The addition at Mira Solo Bar is a sculpture that represents the Divi-Divi tree and lights up at night with a firefly effect.

The pool decks have been spruced up with cabanas, day beds, lounge seating, side tables, umbrellas, and hammocks. There’s a new beach tennis court, too, but if you’d rather be off your feet, drop by the activities center to borrow a book from the new waterproof library collection.
