Here’s a tip: Another round of gratuity hikes is underway for one of the world’s biggest cruise lines.
Carnival Cruise Line is raising the daily recommended amount of gratuities from $12 per person, per night to $12.95 in standard staterooms and $13.95 for suites.
The change goes into effect for sailings on and after Sept. 1. The cruise line says that the tip amounts are automatically charged to shipboard accounts, but can be adjusted before disembarkation at their discretion.
