Say goodbye to Disney California Adventure’s Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
The beloved attraction is shuttering in early 2017 to be re-themed into a new ride called “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT.”
The backstory behind the new addition is that collector Tanaleer Tivan is seeking to add park guests to his collection of prized possessions – including fauna, relics, and species – and it’s up to Rocket to save the riders from doom.
Look out for a bevy of special effects and keep your ears tuned in for music inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack when the ride debuts next summer.
