On the heels of American Airlines announcing it was reducing its number of flights going to Cuba, Florida-based Silver Airways is doing the same.

Travel Weekly reports that the regional carrier is cutting the frequency of its Fort Lauderdale flights to a half-dozen destinations in Cuba.

The company will drop the total number of weekly flights to Camaguey, Cayo Coco, Holguin, Manzanillo, Varadero, and Santiago from 29 to 16.

The cutbacks will begin in all of the destinations (except for Santiago) this month; Santiago flights will decrease in February.
