Allegiant Air is finally breaking into the New York City market, ushering in a new round of ultra-low fares.
The budget carrier will begin servicing Newark Liberty International Airport in November with flights to Cincinnati, Savannah, Asheville, and Knoxville.
Introductory fares are from $39-$41 – but before you get too excited, just know that some features come at an additional cost. Carry-on luggage, for example, costs $15 and up to take on board. Checked baggage will set you back $20 or more.
