Welcome to the World of Hyatt.

The hotel corporation is announcing that on March 1, 2017, it will launch its new loyalty program called World of Hyatt.

The program has three tiers: Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist. Becoming a Discoverist requires 10 qualifying nights or 25,000 base points; Explorists make status at 30 qualifying nights or 50,000 base points; and Globalists require 60 qualifying nights or 100,000 base points.

Replacing Hyatt Gold Passport, the new program will also give guests points for not just room stays, but for dining and spa treatments. Plus, members will earn a free night once they’ve stayed at five of Hyatt’s 12 brands.

Members will continue to earn five base points for every U.S. dollar spent. Hyatt Gold Passport will remain in effect until Feb. 28, 2017.
