Last-minute hotel booking app HotelTonight is introducing some new features to its interface.
A new spec called Escape highlights the best getaway deals for the weekend ahead and for right then and there. It provides users with a curated list of hotels in nearby destinations currently offering deals for that night or the weekend.
Deals are divided into two types of destinations: Tonight and This Weekend. Those under Tonight are in drivable locations. Destinations under This Weekend, for the Friday through Sunday ahead, are located a few hours away from your location.
Aside from adding Escape, HotelTonight updated and expanded its exclusive location-specific discounts to GeoRates, which are targeted to specific regions and times.
HotelTonight also now has a Sydney office, allowing Australian travelers to book deals in that area, as well as in Melbourne. Also added to the app’s roster are the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.
