Neighborhoods across the city are gearing up for the holiday season, and the Flatiron is certainly no exception.
The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District and Van Alen Institute are announcing the winner of its holiday design competition. Beginning Nov. 21, LOT’s Flatiron Sky-Line will serve as the backdrop to the 23 Days of Flatiron Cheer.
The installation is composed of 10 large arches made of white steel tubes and LED lights, along with hammocks that let visitors get a new view of the district.
