Seven Stars An Affordable Tropical Vacation

June 18, 2008    dial up broadband

An affordable tropical vacation may be in your stars this summer if you head for a new luxury resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands. NY1?s Valarie D?Elia filed the following report.

The newest resort on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands is called Seven Stars, named after the Pleiades constellation.

Seven Stars is part-condo, part-resort, but mostly heaven. The accommodations range from one to four bedrooms that can be rented out when owners aren't there. An international staff provides seamless service with a concierge team that responds to guest requests on segways.

Although this is hardly a place to bottom-fish for deals, there are seven ways to save at Seven Stars if you visit before November 15.

First and foremost, Seven Stars is offering as much as 60 percent off daily rates with the biggest discounts on the largest units, so the more the merrier -- and cheaper.

Since every unit has a kitchen, you can save a bundle by cooking your own meals and brewing your own morning joe.

Those into tennis can play till their heart's content without lobbing extra fees and fitness buffs can pump iron instead of pumping gas.

One of the most obvious perks of visiting Seven Stars is its location on a stretch of pristine Grace Bay Beach where the meter runs simply on sunshine.

Provo is a three hour non-stop flight from New York City but the best way to save is with a connecting flight if you don't mind the layover.

Off-season rates start from $274 a night for a one-bedroom studio and range up to $1,560 a night for a four-bedroom suite.

Now here's a D'Elia's Deal you don't want to miss for another way to save at Seven Stars. Book before August 31 for stays during the month of September and get a $100 resort credit per room for spa treatments or meals.
