Want to visit the Hamptons but don't have the time for a house share? Here are a couple of ideas for alternative digs when you visit the East End.

The Sea Dancer is a B&B alright, but more of a ?boat and breakfast? than a ?bed and breakfast.? This 50-foot sailboat is an exclusive getaway anchored in Sag Harbor for the summer from its winter home in Miami.

Owned and operated by ex-New Yorkers Sean Sullivan and his wife Candace, they rent out their master stateroom to privacy-seeking guests who want to be removed from the typical Hamptons scene.

You can stay onboard Sea Dancer for just the night with continental breakfast on deck in the morning, or book their value-added all-inclusive package including three meals a day as well as snacks, alcoholic beverages, use of onboard bicycles and unlimited sailing.

Anchored about a mile off shore, a water taxi is always available for runs into town.

If you prefer a bed and breakfast on dry land, Carole's in East Quogue is an affordable option. Owned by Carole Trachtenberg, a high school principal in the Bronx, you'll feel right at home in her roomy Victorian with the just-like-your-grandmother's d?cor. A full breakfast is included and can be taken poolside in the backyard.

Carole's is located a couple of blocks from the Jitney stop in the compact town of East Quogue.

The weekday rate at Carole's B &B is $125 per room, per night, and $165 on weekends, which have a two-night minimum.

The nightly rate for the B&B on the water is $175 per person. The all-inclusive package has been reduced from $350 to $299 per person, per night, for Val's viewers.
