How connected are you?

According to USA Today, a newly released Gogo study says that interest in in-flight connectivity is significantly higher outside the U.S. This is despite the fact that there are fewer Wi-Fi equipped aircraft in operation in international skies in comparison to those within the U.S.

Gogo, an aero-communications service provider, reports that 83 percent of foreign air travelers said they were interested in using Wi-Fi during flights, compared to 74 percent of U.S. air travelers.

According to the survey, the U.S. had the lowest percentage (76) of passengers boarding with a Wi-Fi enabled device. As for actual usage, one of three flyers typically use at least two electronic devices during flights. Twenty percent of passengers look for Wi-Fi when selecting an airline.
