International travel to the U.S. is slowing down, partly due to a stronger U.S. dollar, according to the U.S. Travel Association’s Travel Trends Index.

However, Skift reports that an increase in domestic leisure travel spending is actually offsetting the decrease in the number of foreign visitors.

The U.S. Travel Association expects that domestic leisure travel will remain strong for at least the first half of 2016.
