The Windy City’s Navy Pier is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. As part of the Centennial Celebration, the PEPSI Tall Ships Chicago will return July 27-31.
You’ll get to see historical vessels, including Spain’s El Galeon Andalucia, and Canada’s Mist of Avalon and Playfair. The U.S. ships are Appledore IV, Fred A. Busse Fireboat, Friends Good Will, Madeline, U.S. Brig Niagara, Pride of Baltimore II, Red Witch, When and If, and Windy.
The event kicks off on July 27 with an opening ceremony, while Thursday through Sunday brings guests the chance to board, tour, or sail the ships. Stay into the night for fireworks, too.
One-day boarding passes are $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. For boarding, touring, and sailing, the cost is from $79.
