Aloft Manhattan Downtown — Financial District is launching a new way to make requests during your hotel stay.
The hotel’s newly launched TiGi (Text it. Get it.) Emoji Room Service Menu enables guests to contact the front desk and request services using emoji.
There are six kits to choose from:
- The Sightseer ($20): Includes a $10 MetroCard, city map, and two drinks at WXYZ. Use the Statue of Liberty emoji.
- The Refresh ($10): Includes toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, and deodorant. Use the bathtub and shower emoji.
- The Hangover ($10): Includes two bottles of Vitamin Water, Advil, and two bananas. Use the water droplet, pill, and banana emoji.
- The Munchies ($10): Includes Coca-Cola, Doritos, Snickers, and chocolate brownies. Use the candy bar, lollipop, and chocolate chip cookie emoji.
- Phone Charger ($25): Text with “Android” or “iPhone.” Use the telephone and electrical plug emoji.
- Surprise Me ($25): Includes “cool stuff.” Use the gift box emoji.
To order, text the corresponding emoji from the TiGi menu to the hotel’s TiGi number with your room number. Your order will be confirmed with the thumbs up emoji, and be delivered to your door. The price is added to your bill.
The program’s expected to be introduced to other Aloft properties.
