Recent guests of Omni Hotels and Resorts should check their credit and debit card statements immediately.

The company is announcing that the point-of-sales systems at some of its 60 North American properties were attacked by unauthorized malware between Dec. 23, 2015 and June 14. It’s not clear which properties were affected, but it possibly hit shops, restaurants, and the like.

Compromised information may include names, payment card numbers, card expiration dates, and security codes.

Guests are eligible for a year’s worth of free identity theft protection and repair.
