Ever since the Second Avenue Subway extension of the “Q’-train opened on January 1, 2017, I have been anxious to take it all the way to the end. Coney Island.
You see, I live very close to the 96th Street station, and waited…er, suffered through 11 years of construction, and can’t be happier about the presence of this subterranean chariot within minutes from my apartment.
Everyone I know in the neighborhood calls it a life-changer…and yes, I agree wholeheartedly. Just recently, I took it to all the way… to Coney Island and back…
