The massive recall of 8.1 million Toyota vehicles could affect one in 12 rental cars, reports Travel Weekly.

As many as 100,000 cars may be pulled from their fleets to deal with the sticking gas pedal issue. For instance, 4% of the cars in the fleet of Enterprise Holdings, which operates its name brand as well as National and Alamo, were affected by the recall.

Avis Budget Group has about 20,000 affected cars, or about 7% of its North America fleet.

About 13% of the cars at Hertz were made by Toyota.
