U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) has recently introduced a bill in Congress that would impose a federal limit on the size of carry-on bags and personal items allowed to be carried by passengers on board aircraft.

The bill would regulate the dimensions of carry-on baggage and require the Transportation Security Administration to measure bags at airport checkpoints.
