US Airways Cuts Snacks
Flyers on US Airways will pay more for flights, but will receive less onboard.
Money.cnn.com announced through an AP report that US Airways has eliminated free snacks in coach class on all domestic flights going forward, in addition to hiking its fares, following United, Delta and American.
The company expects to save money as the price of fuel continues to soar. Customers will still receive complimentary soft drinks.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, US Airways has allegedly informed its workers that other costs will be cut by eliminating flights to and from the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport by late August.
