Now available at everyone’s fingertips is travel information about the United States.
DiscoverAmerica.com, the first official travel and tourism Web site of the U.S., is the result of a Travel Industry Association and U.S. Department of Commerce partnership, according to Travmedia.com.
The 15,000-page Web site has information on all 50 states, popular cities and the country’s five territories, in addition to attractions, entry policy information, mapping tools, travel booking options and other features.
Users can also write reviews and post photos. The site will be available in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Japanese and German.
Its content comes from a number of sources such as the U.S. Department of State, Fodor’s, American Express, Weather.com, Google Maps and state tourism offices.
