Delta Air Lines and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have launched a paperless mobile check-in for domestic travel on Delta flights departing from its main terminal at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Flyers can use mobile devices to check-in and receive an electronic boarding pass via the Web. A TSA official can scan the electronic boarding pass at the security screening area. Those checking bags must do so before the checkpoint.

Soon, Delta expects to add standby upgrades and same day, round trip check-in on delta.com, mobile and SMS check-in.
