Continental Airlines wins, again.

Recently, the airline won "Best Airline in North America" at the 2008 OAG Airline of the Year Awards, for the fifth consecutive year.

Continental also received "Best Airline Finance Deal," a new award category that recognizes the airline's April 2007 financing transaction that raised $1.1 billion to purchase 30 new Boeing 737NGs.

The awards are based on votes by frequent flyers around the world who subscribe to OAG print and electronic travel information products.

Also for the fifth consecutive year, FORTUNE magazine named Continental the No. 1 World's Most Admired Airline on its 2008 list of World's Most Admired Companies.
