Amtrak To Cancel Trains
Some Amtrak train service between Boston, New Haven and New York will be canceled from June 14 to 17, 2008. The cancellations come as a result of a multi-year project that is now at its final stage.
Amtrak needs to replace the movable span of the 90-year-old Thames River Bridge, which is located between Groton and New London, Conn.
The project is intended to improve travel on the bridge by making it more reliable and reducing operational failures and train delays.
Regional Service trains and Acela Express trains will both be canceled. For more information, click here.
