Rhode Island’s Newport Marriott – the city’s largest hotel — is now open following a $35 million redesign that transformed its 320 rooms and suites, public areas and second floor function space.

Guestrooms are decorated in whites, blues and sandy tones. The decking-inspired headboard wall has a backlit sail that stretches the entire length. Tech features include bedside outlets, USB ports, Wi-Fi, 55-inch TV, and reading lights on the headboard.

When you’re hungry, tuck into the hotel’s new restaurant Mainsail for local seafood or pull up a chair at The Skiff, a restaurant bar, or at The Plank, the lobby bar.

For some relaxation, the hotel’s spa has eight treatment rooms, private relaxation lounge, and hair and nail salon.

Nightly rates start at $119.
