Add MSC Cruises to the list of cruise lines that have their own private island in the Caribbean.

TravelPulse reports that the line will debut its new Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in December 2017 to coincide with the launch of the MSC Seaside. The island will serve the new ship, along with the Divina, Opera and Armonia.

MSC has signed a 100-year lease for an island in the Bahamas, about 65 miles east of Miami. It will have 11,400 feet worth of beachfront, a Bahamian village, restaurants, bars, shops, a gazebo, and an arrival center. A pier will make it convenient for guests to get on and off the ships, instead of having to be tendered in. don’t want to just relax on the beach? There will be walking, running, and bike paths.

Visitors can also make use of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the evening for shore dining, live music, and entertainment at a 2,000-seat amphitheater. As if that isn’t enough, it will be home to six beaches – including one for families – in addition to a children’s restaurant, lagoon, zip lines, an event space, and a spa and wellness area.

Other private islands in the cruise industry include Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Cay, Norwegian’s Great Stirrup Cay, and Royal Caribbean’s Coco Cay.
