Guests aboard the Emirates sailings on MSC Cruises’ MSC Fantasia will get to spend some time on a new private island in Abu Dhabi.

MSC’s Sir Bani Yas Island has been in the making for more than two years and upon completion, expect cabanas, more than 2,000 sunbeds, 387,500 square feet of beach, and several food stations serving regional and international food.

Other features of the island include a spa area for massages, volleyball and tennis facilities, family and kids section, tent with local arts and crafts, a bar and lounge, sunbathing spots, nature trails, and water sports.

In 2017, the cruise line willk open its Bahamian Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
