If you’re sailing aboard a Royal Caribbean ship this year, you better budget extra for daily fees.
Beginning May 1, the automatic gratuity for staff will be $13.50 per person, per day – a 4 percent increase. Guests in suites will have to pay $16.50 per person, per day. This is the second time in less than a year that the cruise line has upped those charges.
USA Today reports that passengers can adjust the amount of daily gratuities at the ships’ Guest Services desks.
