Times Square is going to get a bit edgier.
Hard Rock Hotel New York — the city’s first-ever — will open in 2019 at 49th St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
The property will have 445 rooms, along with pieces of memorabilia from the music industry. Expect artifacts from artists with a Big Apple connection, in addition to ones of those who have an impact on the city’s music scene.
Plus, the outpost will have a spa, fitness center, signature restaurant and lounge, lobby bar, underground speakeasy, and rooftop area for daytime and nighttime activities.
Want to have a jam session during your stay? The hotel will have the brand’s Sound of Your Stay program, letting guests borrow a Fender guitar or DJ equipment for in-room usage.
