There’s always something new happening in the world of Disney. Here’s the latest news.

Broadway’s “The Lion King” is now participating in an online lottery that awards $30 tickets to lucky winners. Entries for a limited number of pairs of tickets will be accepted the day prior to a performance. The winners will have an hour to pay and tickets will be distributed a half-hour prior to showtime.

Fans of Epcot’s “Captain EO” may want to squeeze in one last trip to see the show before it closes on Dec. 6. The 17-minute short film starring Michael Jackson originally ran from 1986 to 1994, and returned in 2010 after the King of Pop’s 2009 passing. Once the show officially moves out, the park will introduce the 4D “Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival,” which features three shorts.

Also at Epcot, Innoventions is debuting the new Colortopia Presented by Glidden exhibit. There are three areas to the new attraction, with the first being The Power of Color, where guests listen to a voiceover by actor Ty Burrell describe the psychology of color, as the white walls change to different hues of the rainbow. Next, guests move on to The Color Lab where they play a color matching game and see an optical illusion. Perhaps the most fun part of Colortopia is Color Our World, in which you’re given a paintbrush and can “paint” an interactive mural. You can also download the Colortopia app to find colors around World Showcase, play games, and find shades on the Glidden palette.

Fans of a galaxy far, far away are eagerly awaiting the debut of Star Wars Land, which will begin construction in 2016 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With much of the park sure to be a construction site for the next few years, Disney is announcing that it will no longer host the very popular Star Wars Weekends, which are usually held in May and June.
