Just when the summer heat is at an all-time high, fares to the beach are dropping. JetBlue has a promotion on flights from New York City’s JFK airport to St. Maarten, the Caribbean island, for $99 each way on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between July 1 and Sept. 4, 2008.

You must book before midnight on July 11, 2008. Other JetBlue routes are also on sale, including JFK to Puerto Rico for $139 each way and New York’s La Guardia airport to Fort Lauderdale for $104 each way.
