Families looking for an all-inclusive vacation spot this summer can consider the Hilton Papagayo Resort Costa Rica in Guanacaste and the Doubletree Resort by Hilton Puntarenas, at half off high season rates.

Rates at Hilton Papagayo Resort Costa Rica start at $239.00 per night based on double occupancy. Kids four to 12 years old pay $75 a night in the same room with their parents.

Rates at the Doubletree Resort start at $159.00 double occupancy and kids four to 12 are charged $45 a night with their parents.

Other charges may apply. Rates listed include taxes, gratuity and all meals and drinks.

Children can partake in arts and crafts, drawing, reading and nature walks or families can do activities together. Both resorts offer poolside aerobics, beach volleyball, dance lessons, evening karaoke, live music, water sports, and theater entertainment. Baby-sitting services are available, as are spa treatments.

As of Nov. 1, 2008, the Hilton will no longer operate as an all-inclusive resort.
