Family favorite, Atlantis, Paradise Island is becoming even more family-friendly with the summer debut of the newly renovated Coral Towers.  An exclusive family trip planner is now available prior to arrival to craft a personalized experience with brand-new programming at Dolphin Cay and cultural immersion activities such as Junkanoo Bahamian Fest & Feast.

The ocean-hued facelift includes new rooms and suites with expansive king and double queen beds to accommodate families and amenities such as pint-sized robes and an in-room refrigerator with the ability to pre-purchase snacks.

A new, sparkling blue and white poolscape, designed by renowned architect Jeffrey Beers of Jeffrey Beers International, has private cabanas for rent and family-friendly water activities.

Here’s something that kids and moms are both going to love:  A swim-up ice pop bar featuring locally-made, preservative-free frozen treats prepared daily with Bahamian fruit.

The emphasis on local flavors is also evident with the redesigned Marina Village, serving up an authentic fish fry; the Bahamas’ Best conch salad and a craft beer from a local brewery served in a tasting hall.

Customizable packages start at $353 per night, for travel through the end of October, with a booking deadline of June 6.

What’s the Deal?

It was time for Atlantis to freshen up, with a new generation introducing their kids to what might just be a rite of passage for vacationing families.

While the pricing at under $400 a night is not super-affordable, these summer rates are within reach of families wanting luxury for less and appeals to millennial parents’ desire for a customized experience.
